Firewall Setup OSX

This guide will show you how to setup your OSX firewall to allow you to host games and play with your friends.

1. Open your System Preferences.
2. Select Security & Privacy.
3. Click the Firewall tab.
4. Click the lock icon and enter your administrator username and password.
   1. If it says Firewall: off then your firewall is not blocking the game. In most cases you want your firewall on. Click Start to start your firewall.
5. Click Advanced.
6. Look for StarForge in the list of apps.
   1. If it does not exist then click the + in the bottom left corner of the list.
7. Browse to the StarForge application and select it. Usually located at YourUser/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps.
   1. Your Library folder may be hidden, if so, in finder, press Ctrl+Shift+G and enter ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps
8. Accept the new program and make sure Allow incoming connections is chosen.
